Liverpool-Isle-Belfast Ferry?

Still on a quest to salvage part of our summer trip.....

Anyone have experience with the ferry from Liverpool to Isle of Man to Belfast? How about Isle of Man; worth an overnight? The train from Belfast to Dublin is only 2.5 hrs so Belfast would be a nice addition.
