Given the Discover/Sears portal bonuses, I've been looking to replace the washer and dryer. I had it narrowed down to the Kenmore Elite 41072 or the LG 8000 series. They're basically the same model - the giant 5.2 CuFt kind.
Anyway, Sears started they're friends and family sale tonight, offering $100 of Kenmore W/D pairs or $200 in SYW Points. The deal put the price at the doorbuster price, and I also was showing the $200 in points in addition. So $1600 plus portal plus Discover category bonus plus points for a top ranked pair seemed pretty nice. Just hope Sears doesn't catch the points double dip.
