Holy cow, Matt. That suite is bigger than my first house was!

And that's not including the outdoor space.

Have you ever considered having some give-a-ways on this forum? I didn't know CVS carried champagne. Don't forget to use your NOBC if you buy some. ;-)

Gotta keep hubs away from places like that. He enjoyed our Hilton cat 6 in Naples, FL a little too much. SPG, cat 3, was a let down but way better than a lot of places we've stayed. He's actually considering an all inclusive in Mexico with our Hyatt free nights. I did remind him we'd have to fly.

I swear your Mlife tweets exist just to make us all jealous ha

Please just start asking them to throw in additional random things to see how far you can push them
I pretty much do that already, eg the haircut, dining expense etc from trip 1 and the dining and show for trip 2...

Trip 2 I got a $300 or $400 resort credit and they comped no more than that before using my 'real comps'

Trip 1 I had nothing upfront but they comped away food/spa etc

I asked for UFC tickets which they agreed to.

Giveaways like what?

CVS in Vegas carries all sorts of things... Pricier than home but way cheaper than Vegas hotel gift shop prices never mind casino bar rates.

It's well worth it lugging a 24 pack of water from CVS across the bridges back to the hotel.

Like giveaways on all these super deals that make the rest of us drool. Share the wealth concept, ya know. :) Okay, my sense of humor doesn't always come across on paper.

CVS on the strip also has a Minute Clinic. Really helpful if you show up at a conference in Vegas with a raging sinus infection. Being able to walk from your hotel and get the RX you need for a Z-pac? Priceless.

how much did that cost you? i went to a minute clinic once for a TB skin test for a job app and felt ripped off. $35 for a 30 second administration. I didn't bother coming back to have it read

Doc, I really don't remember. LOL, I was really sick, and just needed relief. But the visit and the RX were covered by my insurance, so it wasn't outrageous.

Assuming that a CPT code for emergency care/complex would end up about $150-#200, whatever it was, it was pretty reasonable.

Are you gambling a crazy amount or do you just have a host who loves you? I am assuming you are MLife Platinum, as am I, but I can't even get them to give me the "Platinum Experience" paper, let alone get a single dollar comped... Any suggestions?

I've written about it a lot, search for mlife and you'll find the posts.

Basically there is (at least) two ways to earn platinum.. Play 1 penny a spin on a slot machine for 900274 hours, or play one spin at 900274.

The two platinums here are not equal.

I have Platinum, but obviously still of no real value to MLife as far as ROI is concerned. Honestly, I can't justify the "float" required to earn the opportunity to have comps. I obviously need to study more, but it seems as if there is just a certain level of faith you have to put in MLife that they will offer us a solid ROI. I will start digging into past posts on here regarding this. Thanks.

Educated guess, willingness to explore and take one for the team.

When you've caught up lets talk more :)

Did a quick test on the 'savings'.. the rate I got from mlife when I made the booking was over $1000 per night.. I can't find a 3 day weekend to compare with, though I did find a Skylofts 1 Bed for $1000 per night, which might be similar (Skylofts is the fancier hotel inside the hotel, so might have some nicer lotion, but it doesn't have a 800sqft terrace..)

Hah! I got distracted by Ferriolo's pic and forgot why I even clicked the link. I think Matt is poised to snag his own Rolling Stones feature. And he'll ruin it for the rest of us wannabes.
It's a fair point... I often wonder if writing (bragging in this mlife case) about these things will overly popularize them and lead to something like that.
