Hyatt 2 free nights - Extension

Hi,

I have read on different forums that Hyatt may give additional six months to redeem the two fee nights that come with the Hyatt credit card. Has anyone tried and succeeded? Any tips as to when to call? My nights expired in september but it doesn't appear I will be able to use them before that time.

I was only able to get 30 days last time, which met my needs, although I'm guessing you could keep calling every 30 days. YMMV.

If you have a booking in mind is how I understand works better than just calling and saying you need more time. I had success booking a hotel in the 11th month for a date at 13.5 months after getting the card. As for how much past 12 you can get, I don't recall.
