Despite there being a $20 resort fee, this is still a decent deal!
Right now, you can book a Standard 1 Queen room at the Golden Gate Hotel for a Tuesday stay for just $4.50 ($5.09 with tax) on Expedia, Hotels.com and other sites! - the sale is on right now, but expires at day's end!
Mondays and Wednesdays in August are only $2 more @ $7. These single-digit rates also extend in September!
Valid Tuesday dates include: 8/12, 8/19, 8/26

That resort fee is collected at the hotel later on when you check-in. (The fee may seem like a lot, but the big-name hotels in the touristy parts of Vegas will usually charge between $20-28 nightly for these fees.) Ultimately, the total for your stay will be just over $25 - not a bad deal considering the prime location of this hotel.
Where is the location, you ask? Well, it's right in the heart of downtown - at the entrance to Vegas' Fremont Street Experience! This is a "must-see" for those visiting Las Vegas for the first time!
