Did this deal earlier tonight after a tip from someone else. Ended up paying around $10.00 in tax but for 3 cases of paper it was well worth it!

If we donate the paper, can we write off the *pre rebate* price as a charitable donation on tax returns? This item alone is pretty small scale, but with the quantity of FAR items from staples, Newegg, TD, and others (Kmart/Sears Nakamichi shenanigans, anyone?) it could add up over a year...

Technically no. Donation is limited to cost basis. But ...

The thought of "storing" / keeping the FAR stuff (especially cases of paper) scares me. I could literally build a house with all the cases / reams of paper I bought last year.
