I recently signed up for the no AF Citi HHonors card that has a sign up bonus of 40,000 HHonors points. Yesterday my friend told me that he received 60,000 points for the same card from the March/April promotion. My soul died a little (thinking about the time it takes to MS that many points out of an HHonors card), so I sent them an email and got the following response:
"Thank you for contacting us. We appreciate each and every opportunity to serve you.
You will receive 40,000 bonus points after spending $1,000.00 within four months of the account opening. The bonus points will appear on a future statement if the terms are met. We are unable to change the terms of your promotional offer.
If there is any way we can be of further assistance, please feel free to contact us."
So... here is my question: Have any of you been in a similar situation with Citi and has anyone successfully been able to get them to give you the point difference?
