Recently booked a trip on *A.
One trip was UA-UA-UA UA-UA while the other was LH-UA-UA UA-UA. First was Q class on outgoing while second was L fare class. Price was $800 vs $575 so not negligible.
YQ the same for both so not a self dump. The price difference was solely due to the fare class.
What's the difference between these two fare classes and how does it account for the drastic price difference?
