CSP Min Spend Missed

A friend recently signed up for the CSP and missed the min spend for the onus by a couple hundred dollars. Is there anything that could be done with Chase to get the bonus or would it be possible to cancel the card and apply again considering she never recieved the bonus on the card? Thanks!

Ask her to give Chase a call. They might give her some leeway/grace period to complete the spend. Always helps to have a checking a/c with Chase and ask the banker to push such kind of requests thru.

That's what I told her. We both thought it was 3000 and she missed it by 150 in Early March. Well it turns out it was 4000. I'm wondering if it was possible to close the card out and just apply for another CSP since we never recieved the bonus. She is NOT a churned and should be under 5 cards. She's also been with Chase her whole life and has a great job and CS.

According to DoC, Chase is unofficially giving 115 days to meet the signup bonus requirement.
