Many long-term cruisers spend their time on Princess. When we were in Alaska on the Coral Princess a few years ago, there was a couple who was spending the entire summer cruising back to back on the Coral. A new blogger I follow has just spent her fifth winter at sea on Princess.
It intrigues me what the costs actually are, so I've used the Princess website to find the costs of spending the month of January 2017 on three Princess ship. I am using the cost per day for two people as my basis of comparison.
Here's the breakdown:
Caribbean Princess $265/day/two
Regal Princess $278/day/two
Royal Princess $295/day/two
I expect these prices to come down as sail dates approach, but I'm doing all my comparisons for January 2017 and I'm looking at current prices (March 2016).
