Citi Pre-Qualfied offers

Just wanted to pass the word. I periodically check offers from Citi and this time around there is a Citi Premier 50k TYP after $3k spending, No second year requirement. Citi prestige 50kTYP after $3k spending. Both are after 3 months time. There is also Citi Preferred 25k.

Check your online prequals!

What does Pre-Qualified mean? No hard pull? Can I transfer some of existing Citi credit line to new card before annual fee is due? I always assume that Pre-Qualified means Qualified to Apply (so basically meaningless)

@ SuperSaver: Usually Pre-Qualified means they did a soft on you at some point and have an offer sitting there waiting for you. It doesn't guarantee approval, but it does put the odds more in your favor. As far as reallocating credit lines, I (from personal experience) have learned Citi and shifting exposures is just not happening.
