I just went through the effort of categorizing on spreadsheets all of our credit cards as well as the bonus offers and expiration dates. I now have 13 cards opened within the 2 year period ending now. It will be September of 2020 when I fall below 5 so I guess Chase is on permanent waivers as I will be at an age where I am unlikely to be opening more cards of any sort.
It has been a good run and we now have over 500K in unsecured credit plus 30K$ in points/miles, assuming you trust TPG which why should I as miles/points are what you make of them. For now I guess it remains to use what I have unless something special comes up or I decided to "churn"
