This company called Fox has a big presence mostly out West. I have not used them yet, but pricing them out compared to other companies they seem way more reasonable. Anyone have experience with this company?

Years ago at LAX.
It was not in terminal, we had to take a shuttle. So it adds a little drop off/pick up time.
No issues otherwise, I'm thinking the car was a little older than we are used to, or just more basic, but it was years ago so it is fuzzy.

Anyone have any tricks for NYC? Going to the airport stinks, but car rentals from NYC are quite pricey, especially in the summer.

The only NYC tip I can give you is pack half the amount of clothes and twice (at least) the amount of money. It is an expensive town.

I am a resident so I am familiar with the drill. I just was hoping there might be some sort of tip for renting cars more efficiently. Zipcar ends up being just as expensive or more than a rental car agency if you rent for 24 hours or more.

I was only breaking your chops because I had to first locate the following information...Here is a local car rental place that you might have better luck at and for sure I have found (not that I rent many cars) cheaper. You can rent by the hour as well. Here you go:
