I had a lot of success using these miles for some great deals (TK Biz JFK-IST; ANA 1st JFK-NAR-JFK plus several sorter Asian flights) but now I'm trying to go MDT-MSP in March and the only award flights are at the oddest times, at least on their website.
Would there be any point in calling them and trying that way? I know they are not the best at service and I'd probably have to give them a flight and then if it wouldn't work, call them back.
Thing is Harrisburg is around the corner while EWR, etc would wind up costing more to get there than I'd save on the tickets. Based on what I paid for miles, the award would be $179 while cash is $381.
As it is early I guess I could just keep trying. Advice?
