Aliant CU for DD transfer question

for transfer to a bank that requires direct deposit, do i direct transfer from Aliant CU? set up like any other transfer from? or do i set up a bill pay?
This is specific for Aliant as i understand that their transfers are coming through as direct deposits and i need a DD for a bank bonus.
