Despite what people have said, though not exactly against advice of counsel, my wife and I both booked Premium Economy on AF JFK-CDG RT and we have indeed each received the 20K MR points, though I guess the 5X points for airfare don't post until statement rolls over.

If you don't mind me asking what was the date of purchase, when did the transaction hit your amex and when did you get the MR points?

I bought two $500 Economy tickets earlier this week and they posted yesterday but the amex offer doesn't seem to be triggered(no email or redeemed status on amex account). AMex chat rep said that everything seem ok.

Feb 22 was the purchase and 3/02 was the posting of points.
