Looking to maximize a new Ipad air 2 purchase. In doing so I stumbled across a new app called Ibotta. Download the app and check it before making a purchase. Unlock a rebate that works for you then shop as normal and verify the purchase and you get cashback. Currently they're offering up to 15 dollars at Best buy. It states you earn 5 dollars on your first 100 dollar purchase which will then unlock the promotion to earn another 10 dollars with 10 dollars spending on the next visit.

Sorry for the noob question, but how do u actually unlock the coupons on this darn app??? You seem to need to do some "fun" (AKA irritating) thing and then the coupon is clipped to use. How and where do u do these fun things?

I literally just watched my wife do this - took exactly 30 seconds. She had to do two tasks - 1) answer a question: "Which department do you shop in most?" Multiple choice, four or five questions and we answered "jewelry" (My wife did, promise!). That took 2 seconds. The second task was watch a 20 second video - once we did those two things we unlocked the offer for 10 dollars back on 100 dollars spent at Kohls.com.

There's the exact same deal a second time that took 30 seconds but is for 10 dollars off 100 spent IN STORE.

I played witha few others - most you just answer one or two multiple choice questions and it'll unlock the offer. I assume that's how they're hoping to stay ahead of things like plink - by gathering data as a profit point as well as the affiliation.
