Quitting job prior to 401k and pension vesting

Hello!

What are your thoughts about quitting current job early? I am 9 months away before my 401k is 100% vested. And 3 years away from getting pension.

I may have a new job offer and was weighing my options whether to quit current job now or later....

Appreciate your inputs.

sounds like a very complicated and personal question.

but in terms of the numbers, some things you can quantify and may want to figure out:

how much money are you walking away from by not being vested 100%? and the pension?
what's the pay difference with the new job?
any difference in benefits?

Yes - I was just checking that. An offer is not being made yet, so I don't know the numbers. But I am guessing I might be leaving 15 - 25k on the table if I quit now. No major jump in other benefits...
