US Airways Dividend And American Airline Miles Mall Promotion Buy Miles Cheaply

Just saw an email from US Airways’ Triple Miles and American Airlines Double Miles Promotion and Neiman Marcus is part of the list of promotions. We know that Chase will credit Ultimate Rewards Point when purchasing through the UR Mall. Since the UR Mall is run by Cartera as is the US Airways Dividend Miles and American Airlines Mall, we can expect the extra miles to work as well. At the cheapest for physical gift cards, this opportunity will allow you to buy points at $.009/point. Buy 1 $1000 gift card and 1 $500 for a total of $1510, there’s a $5 fee per gift card. The promotion for both is 12x miles and 5x for the Chase Ultimate Rewards from the Freedom card. The total haul of points and miles will be 25,550 at a cost $226.50.

Chase depicting Neiman Marcus as a 5% category for department store.

I am not sure how long the triple miles offer will go. Best to jump on it as soon as you can. I am also undecided if I will take advantage of this deal. It is right up my alley of buying miles/points under a penny.

  • Do you use cardpool to sell gift cards? Have you ever got denied from them?
I sold one Lowes card before and getting calls from them asking why I’m selling it, is that a normal procedure from them?

    • I almost exclusively use Cardpool when I sell my gift cards. Their site is easy to navigate, customer service is pretty good, their free postage totally helps. I’ve been denied a few times for Starbucks, but I learned that if you don’t scratch the PIN off, you have a much higher rate of success

The downsides I have with them: I’m on the East Coast and they are on the West Coast, mailing the gift cards to San Francisco takes a while. They have a PO box for all of their mail. I wish they had an alternate address where I could mail a gigantic box of gift cards so I can use FedEx or UPS

  • Thanks for posting this. I just checked both dividendmilesstorefront and aadvantageeshopping, and Neiman Marcus is showing as 4/$ and 6/$ now. Is this deal over or am I doing something wrong? Thanks.

    • It looks like the deal is over. 12/3 must have been the last day. Hopefully, we’ll see another triple or double mile promo for Neiman Marcus before the end of December
