I Love My New York Readers

In the last week, I’ve learned that there’s a ton of readers from the New York region that I’ve never interacted with before until they saw the $25 for $10,000 spend method. We can connect on the same level of difficulty in the regional area that is near and dear to me and we can trade notes. There’s folks that send funny messages like this:

…  I am Italian and from Brooklyn so I understand how to keep my mouth shut (if that helps).

That made me laugh. Even a simple message like this means you’ve read and can follow directions and where I can attempt to be of an assistance:

Hello!
I was hoping you would share your MS opportunity of $10k spend for only $25.
P.S. I’m also a fellow New Yorker – but I’m from Long Island!
Thanks,
Not asking for much, I’ve read every single message and responded with a personal message. But when people can’t follow along like leaving a comment to tell me to contact them, it’s not because I’m ignoring you, you can’t follow directions. If you give me a message that said:
$25 for $10k mfg spend Wondering how did you achieve this?
I gave a canned response. There’s absolutely no thought behind anything except wanting the spoonfeed. So I gave it to you, albeit without all the details because I’m still going to make you work for it.
So to my fellow NY’ers, thank you for reading and sending a message. I’m glad to have been able to help.
I haven’t been able to keep up with all the messages that have come up and plan to aggressively answer them over the weekend. Because my original method takes so much time, I plan to answer all of the $10k spend on the weekend and anything else during the week where it’s a little more manageable until things calm down. I feel Miles Per Day’s pain when he had to send out the AMEX Business 150k Membership Rewards code.

  • So, I didn’t jump in on this (because I’m a legacy NYer, left like, 10 years ago), but, maybe you could ship some awesome bagels down to MD for me for commiserating with the plight of NY MSers? 😛

    • We’ll have to figure out how to get you some bagels!

  • I also am a former NYer (left 6 yrs ago, but was born and raised in Sunset Park Brooklyn). So while I would love the tip, I’ll save my tip-asking for when I absolutely am desperate (I.e. If I ever move back to a waste-land like NYC). In the meantime, I’ll continue to enjoy your content, will continue to ponder your clues (they’re fun!), and will miss the good pizza and bagels. And water. Somehow the rest of the country hasn’t figured out how to give good tap water.

    • You should still get in on it, because I’m not sure how long it’ll last

  • You still pay to MS? If you aren’t profiting cash while MSing points, you’re doing it wrong.

    • You can’t over generalize something a statement like that, especially with manufactured spend since there’s no one size fits all model
