Yesterday, I received my Citi Forward card, Chase Ink Bold, and American Express Campus Edition cards. I am super excited to start to earn all the 5x bonus points in Entertainment and restaurant purchases as well as 100 thank you points every month for paying in full on the Citi Forward.
The Entertainment category includes movies, rentals, bookstores, and music stores. I will probably switch my default card for Amazon, if it is still coded as a bookstore, to the Forward. I will definitely be trying this card at the local campus book store to load my American Express Campus Edition for 5x.
The only downside with the Thank You points is the possibility of receiving a 1099-MISC form from Citi according to their pamphlet on terms and conditions.
My Chase Ink Bold will go towards the cell phone bill and all my office supply purchases of gift cards. On my first purchase, I will be receiving 25,000 Ultimate Reward points and 25,000 points after I spend $5,000 within the first 90 days.
After I activated my Ink Bold, I registered to Lounge Club invitation code is CHASEINK. I expedited my card and the nice customer service representative told me it was $30 for signing up directly with Lounge Club and for Ink members it is $15.
