There’s a few changes, but I want to highlight one specific area. With the latest change to go into effect in 2015, you will be able to select 1 category to earn 3x instead of the current 3x, airfare.
The eligible categories for the 3x:
- Airfare purchased directly from airlines
- Purchases for advertising
- Gas Station
- Shipping
- Computer hardware, software, and cloud computing from select providers

There is a grocery store they code as a gas station in my area that sells GCs with CC… Not quite as lucrative as a 5x card but could still be decent.

Yep, there’s a yearly limit, it’s 100k per category then 1 point for every dollar spent.
