91 Days Since My Last Set Of Applications

It has been 91 days since my last set of credit card applications, and there are not any credit cards that really entice me to apply.

The cards that I currently possess:

  • American Express Hilton – $0 Annual Fee
  • American Express Starwood Preferred Guest – $65 Annual Fee
  • Barclay’s US Airways – $89 Annual Fee
  • Chase Amazon Visa – $0 Annual Fee
  • Chase Freedom Visa – $0 Annual Fee
  • Chase Freedom Mastercard – $0 Annual Fee
  • Chase Sapphire Preferred – $95 Annual Fee
  • Chase Ink Bold – $95 Annual Fee
  • Discover It – $0 Annual Fee (previously, Discover More, but I called to upgrade)
  • Citi Forward – $0 Annual Fee
  • Citi Platinum Select Visa AAdvantage – $95 Annual Fee
  • US Bank Cash+ – $0 Annual Fee

I plan on keeping all the cards and paying the annual fee:

  • US Airways for the annual 10,000 miles
  • Sapphire Preferred for the travel and dining bonus
  • Ink Bold for the office supply, telecom, and gas bonus
  • Citi Platinum Select Visa to call the retention department and see what they have to offer me
  • American Express Starwood for all the transfer partners

If I were to open any cards in the near future it may be these three:

  • US Bank Flexperks
  • Citi Thank You Premier
  • Chase Hyatt

Why would I want those cards?

  • Flexperks for the spending bonus and to see what the rates would be like to exchange gift cards with PlasticJungle
  • Thank You Premier because I would switch back to the Citi Forward for the book store category instead of the Cash+ after the latest change
  • Hyatt for the Platinum status

If I do decide to apply to any cards, I’ll be sure to write about it.
