#milemadness Manufactured Spending Tournament meet the Players

Thursday 2/27 is the final day for new players to join the Manufactured Spending Tournament, I’ll actually be traveling for part of the day, but feel free to shoot me an email to matt@saverocity.com or tweet me @saverocity and I will make sure you make it on the list, for those following along on twitter we are commandeering the hashtag #milemadness for all events, please use it when tweeting about the tournament or to the players so we can keep in touch with you.

The Tournament Kicks Off on Saturday March 1st, and here is a quick introduction to the players:

The Miles Professor is a mathematician who loves to travel and squeeze every bit of value from every mile. With her blog, she aims to show how to make vacation booking with miles and points simple, efficient and luxurious. She focuses on maximizing miles and vacation time for travel to Europe, the Caribbean, South America, always using the right points for every trip and adding on stopovers plus free or “cheaper than free” one ways to get the most trips for the fewest miles!  She is excited to participate in a fun contest with her fellow bloggers and is making the month of March a personal challenge for herself: Earning enough points for a trip to her dream destination, Easter Island, later this year. She’ll be traveling business class and staying at the highly acclaimed Palacio Duhau Park Hyatt in Buenos Aires along the way. Living in New York, where competition for Vanilla Reloads is fierce, time is scarce and there are no Walmarts, The Miles Professor is going to have to rely on her quickness, instincts and other techniques to seek out the right tools and scale her strategy and make her trip to Easter Island a reality! He typically uses about 1 million miles and points a year, and keep an average balance of 2-3 million points across programs and between all family members!
