Your chance to win a ticket to the sold out #ResellingDO

July 13, 2015 By Trevor 11 Comments

Jailbreak 1

We’re less than 2 weeks until the first ever #ResellingDO.

A reminder, ResellingDO will be held at JailBreak Brewing Company, in Laurel, Maryland.

There will be 3 hours of presentations, plus plenty of additional networking time, and of course, plenty of beer.

Here’s the Speakers:

  • TravelTage
  • Chasing the Points
  • John Kriens on Reselling and Taxes
  • Me
  • A panel w/ FBA reselling experts, including BigHabitat

Unfortunately, a reader who had signed up can no longer attend, and has graciously offered the ticket to a good home.

Here’s how you can win your ticket to #ResellingDO

Leave a comment about the weirdest product you’ve ever resold. Enter by midnight EST Thursday, 16 July.

I’ll announce the winner on Friday, 17 July.

Thanks to reader Hani for the ticket!

I shudder to think of the FBA and shipping costs on that one! (hah!)

Nothing weird here. All tech stuff that I sell quick on Amazon for a profit.

A set of video tapes called “Naked in the Wilderness”(they are survivalist tapes)…last week. Actual VHS tapes that somebody bought from me.

Men’s Nike spandex shorts. Back when kohls was 10x through the chase ultimate portal I bought them by the box load. My friend and I still laugh about “slinging spandex”.

Umm, so here goes…One lot of K-Y Jelly that had been on sale long enough to pass it’s expiration date. After informing the buyer however, they were OK with it and the sale was made!

Alas, I have no weird product stories as a bit of a n00b to the reselling side of this game. Only a desire to learn from some experts and fellow mile & point junkies…oh, and a good appreciation for Jailbreak beer of course. 😉

Nothing weird – video game systems, purses, lightsabers, clothes. I need to start selling some car parts as they take up a lot of room in the garage.

A Korn (yes, the band Korn) sticker that I must have gotten years ago with an unrelated music order and figured why not throw it on eBay. Someone actually bought it, so apparently Korn fans still exist in 2015.

The strangest thing that I successfully sell are the coupons that stores send you in the mail. If I don’t have a use for them I sell them on eBay and always make a few bucks off each.
