One of, if not the only reason we pursue miles and points is for out-sized redemption opportunities.

• One Mile at a Time reviews United’s latest devaluation. Baggage fees, elite-companions, Copa starting their own program – things do not look good for the United Elite who will be expected to spend even more money to maintain status next year.
• Wandering Aramean confirms that Delta really is killing award stopovers.
• Are We There Yet nails JetBlue’s latest announcements / devaluation (using that word is ironic considering shares jumped 4%)
