RewardStock’s Expert Interview Series – Featuring Tagging Miles

I had the chance to chat with the guys at RewardStock a short time ago, participating in their Expert Interview series (their first interview was for Richard Kerr, founder of Travel Hacking 101).

There’s a handful of topics that we covered, and even more than we didn’t have time for. I think many know that I travel a lot each year. Some might even be aware of my appreciation for Emirates First Class, Lufthansa First Class (not to forget the Lufthansa First Class Terminal). But don’t let aspirational travel prevent you from enjoy the destination. Like running into friends overseas–which happens more often than at home.

We didn’t really have time to talk about some of the ways that I generate the miles and points for all those premium flights. Manufactured Spending has gotten significantly more difficult with the death of prepaid american express cards (like Bluebird, Redbird and Serve), things are harder, but not impossible. The way that I get more and more of my points each year however, is by Reselling through Fulfillment by Amazon. If you’re a new reader, I’ve got a ton of resources, starting with the Beginner’s Guide. I’ve also partnered with Phil Hall on the Mile High Reselling Club, which has helped a number of folks grow their reselling businesses, in the short two months we’ve had it going.

Even if you’re not into Reselling, you can definitely earn more miles for your normal shopping by using shopping portals.

There’s a lot here, but you can always pose any of your burning questions via Ask Tagging Miles

If you’re a new reader – Welcome! For those of you who’ve stuck with me through the years, Thank You! We’ve got some fun stuff coming up, more travel, before we start ramping up for the reseller’s big season, Q4!
