In Person Bank Offers

Back in May, The Miles Professor posted better offers for Chase and Citi credit card offers in the branch. I stopped by a Chase branch and opened a new United Explorer card because the offer is for 50,000 miles and $2,000 minimum spending requirement.

The offers posted are still good. Below is a picture of the Sapphire Preferred for a $2,000 minimum spend for 40,000 Ultimate Reward points, $1,000 less than the online offers. The Sapphire Preferred in branch is a great offer at 50,000 Ultimate Reward points for $2,500 spending in the first three months.

The backside of the place mat (not shown) have the United cards. The picture displays Visa Signature for the United Explorer card. I was instantly approved for the card at a credit limit of $4,200. I am intrigued to see if I will have a Visa Signature with a credit limit less than $5,000.

  • That’s not an extra bonus for the Sapphire Preferred, that’s just an ad for the regular Sapphire with the standard offer for that card (10k points after $500 spend). Same as the online offers.
