Exciting VCom News

When I visited the VCom a couple of weeks ago, I also tried using the TD Bank Go Card and it posted successfully.

I did not write about it originally as I was skeptical that the charge would be reversed.

In the past, we’ve tried using Visa Buxx cards and it did not work, just like the OneVanillas. The one convincing factor to me was the fact that when I used my TD Bank Go card at the ATM for a withdrawal I saw on the receipt it said “From Checking” on it so I thought it was worthwhile to try out.

Note: I have not tried Nationwide or US Bank because at the time I did not have either card on me. Whenever I get around to it, I will try again. Visiting the ATM is not part of my route of efficiency.

  • I’ve been doing $998 payments with it for a few months now to directly pay off the cards I loaded it with.

    • That is good to hear! Means that we need to always test our methods because a new development could be happen if we never retry

  • Recently stumbled upon your site while trying to figure out a way to get Reward Points for my mortgage payment each month. Talk about a paradigm shift.. I’ve been reading for hours and hours at FT, Frequent Miler and found this post.

Basically I snag a TD Go card, load it with a CC, then hit up a vcom and pay the card back off with it. (I’m assuming I could pay my Wellsfargo mort bill with this too or something like Evolve?)
