Completed The $20kChallenge And Here Are The Results

As promised, my next update on the $20kChallenge is my last one. Completing the challenge was not very sexy because I can put all of the vendors on two hands for $20,000 in spend. I did 3 stores from AMEX Sync, 2 stores on eBay (GiftCardMall and SVMgiftcards), and 2 stores for the secret sauce. The AMEX gift card spend that I put down was $4000 so that I could earn 1.5% cash back to pay back the cost to manufacture spend the points and that was rolled into the Secret Sauce.

  • Quite impressive with little time spent.

PS: I just noticed the bar length doesn’t correspond to the value…

    • Thanks, I’ve streamlined a lot of the processes. The most amount of time I spend is the archaic Web 1.0 site of Cardpool, but that’ll change in the near future.

I’ll get that bar length corrected, shot off an email to the designer

  • A bit curious to know if your points have posted. The bulk of my spend, on the same card, has been through AGC. If this method doesn’t qualify as spend to meet the minimum, ill need to devise a new strategy.

  • If your “secret sauce” COST you money to use, I think you’re doing everyone a favor by keeping it a secret!
